“Once I was broken, but You loved my whole heart through.
Sin has no hold on me; ’cause Your grace holds me now.
Healed and forgiven; look where my chains are now.
Death has no hold on me ’cause Your grace holds that ground, and Your grace holds me now.”
We can’t wait to sing these praises of the miracle that is God’s grace and love for us. When we were still broken sinners God demonstrated His great love for us and did all the heavy lifting needed for salvation. Jesus did what we could never do – He paid a price He didn’t deserve, for a debt He didn’t owe. His grace is sufficient.
