As far as building a worship setlist their is no ultimate formula for success.
\nBut we do have some guide lines we try and follow for our Kingsway Services.<\/p>\n

The only design that we have in the Bible regarding this is:<\/h4>\n

1. Enter the gates with Thanksgiving. (Praise)
\n2. Come to the altar. (Sacrifice)
\n3. Enter the Holy place. (Worship)<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Breaking this down in terms of songs:<\/h4>\n

1. Praise<\/span> – songs about God. (who He is & what He’s done)
\n2. Sacrifice<\/span> – songs about the Cross.
\n3. Worship<\/span> – songs TO God. (or me To God)<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Since we currently do 3-4 song set-lists, we can break them down as follows:<\/p>\n

1 or 2 Upbeat Praise Songs.<\/span>
\n1 Transitional Song (A.K.A. Sacrifice).<\/span>
\n1 or 2 Worship Songs.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We always try to start our services with an upbeat song.
\nWe think of Church as a family reunion.
\nSo we’re excited to be together ready to worship God.<\/p>\n

To help make this even simpler, check out Kingsway’s current songbook<\/a> where we have already organized all our songs currently being used into their appropriate categories.<\/p>\n
